| Explanation: Players must be 13 years of age or older to consent to data collection under COPPA law and therefore join or play Leporidae in most countries. Players must be at least 16 to join or play Leporidae in the EU to comply with GDPR. Do not ask staff for exceptions. |
Result: Instant Ban (no warning)
Players found to be under the age of consent for data processing will be banned immediately with no warning, and any other accounts create by them will be banned immediately. If NO other rule violations were made, the underaged player may request their account to be unbanned when they are of age to consent to data collection, or start a new account. However, if the player was found to be registering multiple times in an attempt to sneak by staff, or breaking other rules, they will be permanently banned. |
| Selling Accounts/Money/Items/Animals Etc. |
Explanation: All virtual items, currency, animals, and accounts cannot be traded or sold for real life money, goods, or services (with the exception of play-created artwork, writing, or layout commissions, which may be traded for in-game currency).
Staff will not be responsible for scams involving these sales, as they are prohibited.
Note: You may trade on-site currency for currency on other game sites as long as it is allowed with the other games rules. Giving away items, rabbits, and currency is also fine. We do not allow trading or giving away accounts, though. |
Result: Warning, suspension, or ban (with or without warning).
Both parties found to be selling/buying their in-game possessions for real-life ones will be warned, suspended, or banned depending on the intent and severity of the offense. Same goes for the selling/trading of in-game items or currency with other sites that do not allow it. |
| Multiple Accounts |
| Explanation: Multiple accounts are allowed as of 2018-12-15 09:12:34. A player may use multiple accountss that they themselves created. |
Result: No longer a rule as of 2018-12-15 09:12:34.
Multiple accounts found to have been created prior to the date of 2018-12-15 09:12:34 will be banned immediately for violation of the previous Terms of Service. |
| Personal Information |
Explanation: Do not post personal information anywhere publicly on the site. This includes publicly posting any identifying information such as email, physical address, rabbitry name or prefix, phone number, or city where you or someone else lives.
Note: You may share your own personal information (no one else's) over private messages if you choose, but Leporidae is not liable if problems that occur as a result of giving your personal information away by private messages or offsite means. |
Result: Notice, warnings, suspension, or ban.
If found, staff will remove personal information and provide the player with a notice (not a warning) if it was their own information being shared. Frequent or intentional repeat of the offense will result in real warnings and possibly suspensions or bans. Posting of another person's personal information will result in immediate warnings and can result in suspension or ban if repeated. |
| Do Not Post Copyrighted Material |
Explanation: We do not allow posting or use of material without expressed, written permission from the copyright holder. This includes any photos, works of art, writing, code, or otherwise. Make sure to check whether material is copyrighted and fair use before posting. This may include random images found through search engines like Google.
This also includes the ARBA Standard of Perfection, which is copyrighted. Any content from the SOP (such as pictures, written content, and distribution of points) cannot be posted without ARBA's permission.
Note: You are welcome to use Leporidae content on-site such as for banners, avatars, or layouts. The Creativity forum is a good place to sell or buy things you or other players created to use on-site. We have no rule against using site currency for this. |

Accidental copyright infringement will result in removal of the content and a notice from staff. Repeated or intentional violation will result in warnings, suspension, or ban depending on the severity and frequency. |
| Keep It PG-13 |
| Explanation: Keep interactions, pictures, and all other content appropriate for a PG-13 rating. No sexual content, excessive violence, or extreme swearing. Minimal swearing in the chatbox or forums is allowed as long as it is not directed at anyone. Do not put swear words in names or descriptions (such as usernames, rabbit names, ear numbers rabbitry or prefix, or anywhere else that gets seen continuously on the site.
Note: This is a livestock breeding SIM. Discussions of humane animal husbandry and meat production is allowed. |

Borderline content may be removed by staff, and a notice may or may not be given if the content is only borderline. More severe violation such as excessive swearing or obviously troubling content will result in a warning or suspension. Intentional, repeated, or more severe violation can result in a ban. |

Explanation: Until we have bilingual staff, we can only allow English to be used in public areas of the site.
Note: You are welcome to speak any language over private messages, bearing in mind that staff will not be able to read them when looking into issues such as scamming. We are not responsible for any issues that come up. |

Explanation: Do not post harmful links of any kind, ones that give out personal information (such as real life rabbitry sites), or sites that directly violate TOS (such as bullying sites or sites that falsely claim to be run by staff).
Leporidae is not responsible for off-site content. Once you click on a link that leaves the site, we cannot be held accountable for it. |

Staff will remove harmful links, links to sites violating TOS, or those which contain personal information (such as real life rabbitry sites). |
| Harassment/Bullying |
Explanation: Personal attacks, hate speech, discrimination, impersonation, threats, bullying, rumor-spreading, berating, or antagonizing others will not be tolerated.
We recommend blocking players that you are having conflicts with and/or reporting them to staff through the Modbox.
Excessive false reports, however, or berating staff to punish a player, is a form of harassment. |

Harassing or insulting other players or staff can result in anything from a simple notice to a warning, suspension, or ban depending on intent, frequency, or severity. |
| Scamming |
| Explanation: All agreements between players must be followed through without deceit. This includes sales, trades, services, and giveaways. Do not attempt to fool or scam other players. |
Result: Warning, suspension, or ban (with or without warning).
If you have been scammed or suspect scamming activity, staff will assist whenever possible. A player found to be attempting scams will be warned, suspended, or banned depending on the severity or frequency of violations. Information that is recorded on the site will be used as proof, such as private messages, so we recommend using the on-site message system when making agreements with another player. We cannot be held responsible for scams that we don't have proof of due to lack of on-site records, scams that takes place offsite, or scams that involve transactions of an offsite currency, such as real money. |
| Promotion of Illegal Activity |
| Explanation: We do not allow promotion of illegal activity of any kind. Do not discuss illicit activities in a promotional way. This includes things such as pirating, fraud, and anything else illegal in real life. |
Result: Warning, suspension, or ban.
Any player found to be intentionally promoting illegal activity will be banned. |
| Do Not Exploit Bugs |
| Explanation: Any exploitable bugs (such as ones that give you money, items, or other benefits) must be reported to staff immediately. Do not try to figure out the bug, even if you are unsure if it is a bug, it must be turned in without further investigation. |
Result: Warning, suspension, or ban.
Failure to report a bug immediately or exploiting bugs can result in warnings, suspensions, or bans. Repeated exploits will result in a permanent ban. |
| Do not try to get around being blocked. |
| Explanation: After a player blocks you, do not attempt to get around the system or ask them or staff to change the block. |
Result: Warning, suspension, or ban.
Attempting to contact a player who has blocked you or asking staff to be unblocked will be halted by staff and may result in warnings, suspension, or bans depending on severity and frequency. |
| Spamming and Flooding |
| Explanation: Do not spam pointless, meaningless messages or flood the site. This includes forums, chats, private messages, and anywhere else that could be subjected to spam. |
Result: Warning, suspension, or ban.
Accidental posts will be removed by staff. Intentional and repeated spamming will result in a warning, then a suspension, then a ban if it continues. |
